ETC EcoCulture engages in the following central activities in all its fields of work:
- Programme/project management
Planning and implementation of larger programmes; financial and administrative support
- Short-term advisory work
Focused technical assistance, facilitation of participatory planning, process documentation, participatory monitoring and evaluation, backstopping through intermittent visits and long-distance advisory support
- Information brokerage and networking
Mobilisation of innovative experiences globally; facilitation of decentralised international networks; electronic and printed publications and newsletters; participatory workshops and conferences
- Studies and policy research
Comparative analysis of case studies; interactive dialogues with policy makers
- Training and coaching
Training of trainers; tailor-made sequential in-service training; training monitoring and follow-up; development of training materials and preparation of training guides, primarily in the framework of longer-term collaborative programmes
- Participation in international forums and programmes
